Study On The Function Of Local Government In Higher Vocational Education

At present,with the change of vocational education situation,the cultivated purpose of vocational education is technical talents,which meet the demand of economy development,and service the society.With the policy that formulated by our country,and increase the financial investment in vocational education constantly,the government advancing the development of vocational education and the area economy.Guizhou province takes measures,and implements the operation,which means enforcing the province and enriching the people,to accelerate the development of vocational education.This thesis targets at high vocational education,and discusses and presents the research,which is studied by some scholars,and the research is about local government and vocational education outside or inside the country.And then,analyzes the function of government with the method,such as literature review,case analysis,interview and induction.In order to promote the vocational education,thesis aims at finding the problems and giving some suggestions to solve the problems which is analyzed by during the process.This thesis composed of four chapters besides the background and conclusion.The first chapter is the definition on higher vocational education and local government,then introduces the basic theory.The second chapter is the conclusion about how local government act ondevelopment of vocational education in Guizhou province,and then finds and analyzes the problems that exist in the process,and gives some suggestions.For example,the rules of vocational education is not complete,the cooperation between college and company is not effective and the financial investment is not balance.The third chapter is the experiences from some other cities either in China or some countries in foreign country,and find out if it effective enough.The last chapter suggestions and strategies.
