An Empirical Study On Community Correction System Of Juvenile Delinquency

Juvenile delinquency is a problem that all countries in the world need to face.Our country is in a period of major social transformation.The social environment is complex.The situation of juvenile delinquency is not optimistic.On the whole,it shows the trend of younger age,violence and collectivization.In recent years,juvenile malignant crimes have occurred frequently,and some cases have aroused strong social concern.With the development of society,penalty has changed from severe punishment doctrine to humanitarianism.The trend of light punishment and non-imprisonment is more and more obvious.Non-imprisonment penalty has been widely used all over the world.Promoted by the development of the international criminal justice situation,community correction emerges as the times require in China.Since July 10,2003,the Supreme People's Court,the Supreme People's Procuratorate,the Ministry of Public Security and the Ministry of Justice jointly issued the Notice on the Pilot Work of Community Correction,China's community correction work has been carried out for 15 years.With the efforts of the community correction workers,we have accumulated rich experience and achieved fruitful results.The community correction system has been deeply rooted in the criminal justice system of our country.The community correction system for juvenile delinquency is an important part of the community correction system.It has developed rapidly in recent years.Although there are many loopholes in the system,as long as the problem is solved in practice,it can play a greater role in the governance of juvenile delinquency.Based on China's national conditions and existing data,this paper analyzes the current situation and causes of juvenile delinquency,and on this basis discusses the necessity and feasibility of juvenile community correction.Then,by combing the development process of community correction in China and combining with the investigation results in the W district of C city,this paper points out its deficiencies in the legislative system,supporting system,team building and practical work,and puts forward targeted Suggestions in the end of this paper to offer Suggestions for improving the community correction system of juvenile delinquency.
