In recent years,with China's rapid economic development,the number of civil automobiles and drivers has also achieved fast growth.The development of the automobile industry makes our life more convenient,but it can cause a large number of traffic accidents which bring great negative impact to the society and people's life.At present,the situation of China's road traffic safety is relatively stable,but road traffic accidents with mass casualties occur from time to time.Therefore,it is essential to study the influencing factors of road traffic safety and analyze the relationship between the factors.The study is of great practical significance and helpful to improve the road safety level and the traffic safety management ability.This thesis takes the influencing factors of road traffic safety as the research object,and discusses the relationship between various factors on the basis of some theories and methods including fault tree analysis(FTA),system theory,accident-causing theory,structural equation modeling(SEM)and so on.Firstly,the thesis classifies accidents into certain types.From the classification of accidents,the current situation of road traffic in China is learned.China's road traffic situation has improved steadily recently.However,compared with developed countries,the number of road traffic deaths per 100,000 people in China is higher.So,there is still a big gap with the developed countries in road safety.The thesis analyses the typical road traffic accidents and explore the causes of accidents with FTA.The results shows that human,automobile,road,environment,and management can directly lead to traffic accidents,and the basic causes are often associated with traffic management and traffic environment.China's traffic accidents are frequent and cause heavy loss.Besides,the accidents distributes uneven in different ares.As a whole,the number of accidents decreased from east to west,and the number of accidents in the south is much more than in the north.Secondly,the thesis analyzes the relationship between the factors.Then,the thesis constructs the conceptual model of the relationship between road traffic safety factors based on system theory and accident-causing theory.On the basis of this,the structural equation model was used to define the path diagram of the relationship between the influencing factors,and the data were collected by questionnaire.The SPSS and AMOS software were used to analyze the questionnaire data.The results show that the traffic environment has a direct positive impact on human and roads.Traffic management has a direct positive impact on automobiles and roads.Besides,there is a direct two-way positive relationship between the traffic environment and the traffic management.Therefore,the key to improve road traffic safety level is to improve the traffic environment and strengthen traffic management.Finally,according to the research results and the current situation of traffic accidents in China,some suggestions are put forward in this paper.This thesis constructs the conceptual model of the relationship between the influencing factors of the road traffic safety,and uses the structural equation model to reveal the relationship between the factors.Encourage social organizations to participate in traffic management is useful for road safety.In the face of new situations and new challenges,the traffic management department should mine the potential value of "Internet + traffic management".It's necessary to actively use advanced science and technology such as big data and cloud computing to push forward modernization of China's road traffic control capacity.
