Reseach On The Disposal Of Police After Shooting

Police shootings are the highest level of police use of force,the use of deadly force.In modern countries ruled by law,the use of deadly force by police has always been a hot topic.The shooting incident of police shooting not only affects the individual police,but also may affect the overall image of police and public security organs.Therefore,it is very important for police to take effective measures to respond to social concerns after shooting.Post-shooting disposal of police is one of the links in the use of police weapons,including on-site disposal after shooting,psychological intervention,media communication and response,as well as report and investigation.By analyzing the police shootings in China in recent years,even if the shooting behavior is reasonable and legal,the police and their subordinate public security organs are also faced with the risks and challenges after the shooting.Therefore,this paper conducts a systematic study on the relevant disposal measures after the police shootings.The first chapter of this paper elaborates on the research background,research purpose and significance,research review at home and abroad,research ideas and methods.From this,it is known that compared with foreign countries,China currently lacks systematic research on the disposal of police shootings.The second chapter discusses and analyzes the difficulties and challenges faced by Chinese police after shooting,which are summarized as the complex scene environment,the impact of psychological stress response,the misinterpretation and questioning of media opinions,and the anxiety of reporting and investigation.The third chapter is the analysis of the current situation of police shooting disposal.Shot through interviews with experience of civilian police,to police with arm licence for the questionnaires,insight into the details of the relevant treatment measures after the police shot,and combined with outside after the police shot the disposal measures of comparison,respectively from the disposal,psychological intervention,media communication,reporting and investigation four aspects analyzes the existing problems and deficiencies.The fourth chapter of this paper on improving the disposal of police shooting put forward targeted Suggestions.By referring to the beneficial experience abroad and combining with the current law enforcement situation of China’s public security organs,this paper puts forward some feasible countermeasures.Secondly,the training mode and content of police gun should be reformed.The third is to further improve the psychological intervention mechanism from three aspects: the formulation of psychological intervention procedures,the establishment of talent team,and the scientific research of intervention.Fourth,the sound news spokesman system,strengthens with the media communication;Fifth,standardize the procedure of investigation report and improve the professional level of investigation.
