Research On The Countermeasures Of International Mail Smuggling Drug Crime

With the in-depth reform of the postal system and the rapid development of the express delivery industry,the quality and efficiency of international postal services have significantly improved,which not only brings convenience to people's lives,but also promotes the development of the national economy.However,due to the unilateral pursuit of efficiency in the development process of postal service enterprises,and the neglect of their own connotation construction,there are problems such as inadequate supervision system,inadequate safety management,and not strict management of employees.This provides opportunity for the drug traffickers.Drug traffickers are well versed in the regulatory loopholes of the delivery industry,the use of anonymous delivery,dilute drug package density by adding violation-free packages and other ways to carry out drug smuggling and trafficking activities.This has made it more difficult for China's anti-drug work while increasing international drug abuse.Therefore,how to effectively crack down on criminal activities using international mail to smuggle drugs has become a realistic challenge to the world's anti-drug work.This paper takes "combating smuggling drug crimes by international mail" as the research topic,and analyzes the reality,causes,development trends and harms of international mail smuggling drug crimes under the current international postal system,and combines the actual control of cross-domain smuggling of drug crimes in China.A systematic study was carried out on the countermeasures against the crime of drug smuggling by international mail,and provided constructive suggestion for China's supervision and investigation of the smuggling of drug crimes through the delivery channels.The article discussed relevant topics from four aspects: the first chapter is the logical starting point of the research,combined with specific cases and related data,elaborates on the general situation of international mail smuggling drug crimes,aiming to introduce the connotation and extension of international mail smuggling crimes.The second chapter is based on the actual situation of anti-drug work in China,focusing on the current difficulties in the control and attack of international mail smuggling drug crimes.The third chapter combines the specific functions of the customs anti-smuggling department to address the difficulties of control and combat.The corresponding countermeasures include the contents of mail inspection,intelligence gathering,investigation and evidence collection,and controlled delivery.The fourth chapter discusses how China responds to international mail smuggling drug crimes from the perspective of joint law enforcement cooperation system,and strengthen the cooperation with relevant domestic departments and international law enforcement cooperation in other countries,in order to form a combat synergy.The research in this paper is helpful for understanding the international drug-smuggling crimes,enriching the theoretical research results of international mail smuggling drug crimes,and providing new ideas and realistic paths for the construction of the drug delivery system in China.In the end,it will further develop the national anti-drug work.
