| Marx's concept of democracy is an important part of Marxist philosophy.It can be found in various works and texts of Marx.By studying Marx's works and texts,we can learn something about Marx's democratic concept and other related thoughts,which will promote the development of Marxism in contemporary China.This thesis mainly expounds Marx's democratic concept from the following four aspects.Firstly,it introduces the historical background and theoretical source.Marx's democratic concept sprouted in the background between the development of the capitalist economy and the sharpening of class contradiction.It was inspired by theories including Rousseau's idea of “People's Sovereignty”,Hegel's “Political State and Civil Society” as well as the Utopian Socialism Democracy.Secondly,the thesis explains the basic content of Marx's democratic concept from three dimensions including the essence of democracy,the approach to realize democracy and the goal of democratic development.Thirdly,it summarizes the theoretical characteristics and social practice of Marx's democratic concept.Marx's democratic concept has three basic characteristics of practicality,class nature and historical inheritance.Marx believed that the practice of democracy depends on the combination of legislative and executive powers,people's supervision and cheap-running government.Finally,based on the practice of China's democratic construction,this thesis points out that Marx's democratic concept is of great practical significance in facilitating the construction of China's democratic political system,promoting the construction of China's democratic supervision system and improving the awareness of Chinese citizens' political participation.Above all,only by comprehensively and deeply studying Marx's thought,can we better adhere to the basic position of Marxism in the process of building socialism with Chinese characteristics and thus push our country towards national rejuvenation and people's prosperity. |
