With the intensification of the current situation of social idolization,the voices of all sectors of society to pay attention to media literacy education for young people are increasingly strong,but what is the relationship between the emotional involvement of young idolatry and media literacy,using objective data and mathematical analysis Whether to confirm the problems of contact and interaction between them is still vague.To this end,the main purpose of this study is to deeply explore the relationship between the degree of idolatry involvement of contemporary youth groups and their media literacy,and to present the media usage of adolescents and idolatry in the context of media diversification through a comprehensive survey.This paper takes the youth groups in Shijiazhuang as the main research object,and mainly takes the form of questionnaires to obtain practical survey samples.The design of scales not only investigates and counts the media contact situation of young people under the influence of new media and the current situation of media use habits.Moreover,the rationality,reliability and validity of the scale were studied and measured.At the same time,this paper reviews the academic research works related to idol worship and media literacy of young people,and combs the related academic research works at home and abroad in recent years.In addition,observations,inquiries,and other means are used to collect information about the phenomenon of young people chasing stars,in order to effectively investigate the motivations of the majority of young people to produce idolatry and the corresponding role of media use.According to the survey and analysis,the attitude of young people's idolatry has significant differences in different media literacy.The average score of low-media literate students in idolatry is significantly higher than that of high-media literacy students.In addition,this article is based on the CAS Chinese version of the idolatry attitude scale measurement and analysis available,although the results of a few young people's surveys show a more extreme state,but overall,most of the adolescents' attitude toward idols is still relatively rational,overall The degree of involvement is relatively light,mostly in the light “entertainment social” dimension and the “emotional projection” dimension,but the high level of results displayed by the “entertainment social” dimension and the generalization of youth idolatry still require attention from all walks of life.In addition,this paper finds that the idol types that most teenagers love and admire are generally consistent with the types of stars that are popularized and shaped in the mass media.To a certain extent,the influence of the mass media even determines the choice of idol worship for the young people.Mainly based on entertainment stars,sports stars and business stars.At the same time,referring to the college students' network literacy scale,this paper finds that the new media literacy level and the idolatry attitude of young people have an overall correlation.Among them,the idol worship and the new media information have the strongest correlation and the ability to create and share new media.The choice of information and the ability to identify are the weakest,but they have reached a significant level.In general,it can be seen from the mathematical analysis that the young media literacy and the degree of idolatry are negatively correlated,that is,the higher the media literacy,the lower the idolatry,the more rational the behavior and attitude.This conclusion is also consistent with the original research hypothesis.
