The Study On The Impact Of Smartphone Popularity On Youth Values

Youth is the backbone of national and social development.In the new era of the gradual popularization of smart phones,the values of youth are constantly changing,showing increasingly instability and complexity,which makes the current ideological and political education face many new situations and problems.General Secretary Xi Jinping attached great importance to the ideological and political education of young people.At the Symposium of teachers of Ideological and political theory course held on March 18,2019,he emphasized the important role of Ideological and political theory course in guiding and cultivating young people.At the same time,General Secretary Xi Jinping also attaches great importance to the development of the Internet and new media,how to use the Internet and smart phones to enhance the effectiveness of Youth Ideological and political education,how to helpyoung people establish correct values consistent with socialist core values,how to guide the development of smart phones on a reasonable track and bring positive impact to young people,and avoid its negative impact.It is the main problem we are facing at present.Firstly,we study the theoretical origin of youth value cultivation.We have sorted out the relevant thoughts on the cultivation of youth values put forward by the main leaders of the Communist Party of China,and have taken Mao Zedong,Deng Xiaoping and Xi Jinping's youth thoughts as the theoretical basis for the study.Secondly,we use the method of investigation and research to analyze the current situation and existing problems of youth values.Taking the young people aged 14-35 in Shanxi Province as the research object,through questionnaires,interviews and other forms,combined with online and offline survey results analysis,this paper elaborates the basic situation of contemporary youth values from five aspects: social and political outlook,basic world outlook,professional values,marriage values and life values.Thirdly,we summarize the characteristics of current youth values and the impact of smartphones on youth values.We analyze the impact of smart phones on youth values from five aspects: the instantaneity of the speed of information dissemination,the magnanimity of the content of information dissemination,the popularization of the subject ofinformation dissemination subjects,the instantaneity of methods of information dissemination and the freedom of channels of information dissemination.We elaborate the five characteristics of contemporary youth values,namely,the swing,fragmentation of values.Self-orientation,one-sidedness and pluralism.Finally,we explored the cultivation path of youth values from five aspects.That is to say,we should use the socialist core values to sing the strongest voice of youth values cultivation;occupy the main position of youth values cultivation with the scientific theory of historical materialism;explore youth values cultivation with the help of communication theory;enhance the attraction of youth values cultivation with rich and diverse forms of cultivation;and control the environment of youth values cultivation with reasonable and effective means of supervision.
