Due to its mysterious natural scenery and rich biological resources,the Antarctic is increasingly visiting the Antarctic for scientific research and the exploitation of biological resources and other human activities.Frequent human activities are bound to cause damage to the fragile ecological environment of Antarctica,so how to regulate human Antarctic activities in law is particularly important.With the development of social economy,Antarctic tourism activity,which is one of the best destination choices for people’s high-end travel,is gradually emerging.Like the Antarctic expedition,Antarctic tourism can also be regarded as a symbol of a country’s comprehensive strength.At present,China has become the second largest source of tourists to Antarctic tourism.With the development of Antarctic activities,it also has a negative impact on the ecological environment of the Antarctic.The fuel leakage of tourists on the Antarctic cruise ship will pollute the waters of the Southern Ocean,and the wastes left by tourists will have an ecological impact on the Antarctic.The system has a potential impact.China,as a party to the Antarctic Treaty and a large source of tourists for Antarctica,has the obligation and responsibility to make its own contribution to the protection of the Antarctic environment.This paper takes Antarctic tourism as an example to discuss the legal regulation of environmental protection in Antarctica,analyzes how to properly understand the environmental problems brought about by the development of Antarctic tourism,and uses existing international multilateral treaties and relevant conference documents to regulate environmental protection issues,and rationally analyze various treaties and The relationship between related meeting documents.This paper uses comparative induction and other research methods to first analyze the negative impact of the growing Antarctic activities,especially tourism activities,on the Antarctic environment,and then discuss the existing international rules on environmental protection issues brought about by Antarctic activities,through comparison with the Antarctic Closely related legislation of several typical countries on environmental issues in Antarctica,draws enlightenment and significance to Chinese legislation.By comparing the legislation of these typical countries,summing up their respective advantages and places worth learning,and finally combining with my own And the existing existing Antarctic treaty system and environmental protection protocol and other relevant legal documents,in order to sortout relevant international legal documents,face the obstacles encountered in regulating Antarctic environmental protection issues,and look forward to the prospects of the Antarctic Environmental Protection Law,and then propose to improve China Advice on relevant legal regulations.
