Research On The Protection Of Traditional Villages In Yongjia County

Traditional villages include material cultural heritage such as village layout,traditional architecture,ancient cultural relics,and also include intangible cultural heritage such as patriarchal rules,religious beliefs,festival customs,dialects and proverbs.They have specific historical and cultural connotations and carry The excellent traditional culture that has been accumulated in China for thousands of years.However,with the acceleration of urbanization construction,the problems of traditional village protection have become increasingly prominent.In this regard,the No.1 document issued by the central government has continuously emphasized the need to strengthen the protection of traditional villages.In the rural revitalization strategy proposed by the No.1 document issued by the Central Committee in 2018,it is clearly proposed to protect cultural relics,traditional villages,ethnic villages,traditional buildings,improve the rural living environment,protect the rural landscape from damage,and inherit the traditional villages.Culture,and continue to build beautiful villages that are suitable for living and suitable for industry,and take the road of revitalizing socialist rural areas with Chinese characteristics.As a thousand-year-old county in the southeastern part of Zhejiang Province,Yongjia County has a beautiful natural environment,unique ancient buildings and traditional villages,which have produced cultural treasures such as “Yongjia School” and formed local characteristics such as farming,clan and local architecture.In this context,the study on the protection of traditional villages in Yongjia County is of great significance to the revitalization of the countryside,the establishment of beautiful villages and the inheritance of traditional culture.This paper introduces the natural geography and social and historical environment,geographical and historical spatial distribution of traditional villages in Yongjia County,and the characteristics of traditional villages.Taking the traditional villages with typical characteristics such as Cangpo Village,Furong Village,Yubei Village and Linkeng Village as representative examples,the data and field investigations were searched to study the current status of protection.Through sampling and research methods,from the perspectives of villagers,tourists and government personnel,a comprehensive understanding of the status quo of traditional village protection in Yongjia County is carried out.Reorganize the current main practices adopted by the Yongjia County Government for the protection of traditional villages.Understand the problems of natural decline and destruction of traditional village protection in Yongjia County,lack of traditional culture,lack of protection funds,and in-depth analysis of the causes of problems and the existing contradictions.Further targeted countermeasures and suggestions for the protection of traditional villages from the aspects of raising awareness of protection,formulating overall construction plans,and promoting traditional culture.The protection of Yongjia traditional villages is not only the protection of unique ancient buildings,beautiful natural scenery,ingenious village layout,but also the protection of traditional culture that has gradually formed from the process of inheritance of farming civilization and condensed historical memory.
