Research On The Construction Of Small Towns With Chinese Characteristics From The Perspective Of The Urban-rural Relationship Between Marx And Engels

The 13 th Five-Year Plan outline points out that we should develop small towns with distinctive features,integration of production and cities,and full of charm according to local conditions;the Notice on Developing Characteristic Towns in 2016 requires that 1000 small towns with distinctive characteristics be built nationwide in 2020;and the implementation of the strategy of Rural Revitalization in 2018 also points out that we should build a number of well-equipped and multi-functional towns.Leisure and sightseeing areas,rural residential quarters and characteristic towns,provinces have issued policies,characteristic towns construction boom has been launched in various places,the study of characteristic towns has increasingly attracted the attention of academia.Firstly,this paper combs the founding process of Marx and Engels' theory of urban-rural relationship,deeply studies its ideological source and era background,and extracts the main content of Marx and Engels' theory of urban-rural relationship through the interpretation of Marx and Engels' classical literature.Secondly,taking the sequence of time development and the internal logical connection of things as the main line,this paper combs and analyses the development process of urbanization in China,the historical evolution and importance of the development of small towns with Chinese characteristics,and puts forward that small towns with Chinese characteristics are an effective way of urbanization construction in China and a powerful grasp of the strategy of rural revitalization.Finally,based on the current development situation of characteristic towns,using the theory of urban-rural relationship of Marx and Engels and the experience of urbanization construction in China as guidance,this paper studies and analyses the problems existing in Chinese characteristic towns,and optimizes the construction of small towns with Chinese characteristics by improving the supply structure of development factors,optimizing the spatial layout,perfecting the system mechanism and evaluation criteria,so as to promote the strategic reality of rural revitalization.In the process of criticizing the old capitalist world and discovering the new socialist world,Marx expounded the inevitable trend of the future development of urban-rural relations,which provided an important theoretical support for the construction of small towns with contemporary Chinese characteristics.As a typical practice of implementing the strategy of rural revitalization,characteristic towns should break the drawbacks of urban-rural dual structure system mechanism under the guidance of Xi Jinping's socialist thought with Chinese characteristics in the new era,constantly build new urban-rural relationship mechanism and new urbanization development path,and further promote the scientific development of urban-rural relationship and industrial-agricultural relationship in China.
