With the development of economy and politics and the transformation of government functions,the government is constantly turning to "service-oriented",which requires higher comprehensive ability and higher professionalism to government staff.As a low-level township government in China's government system,the implementation of various national policies not only serves the people directly,but also needs to transmit the needs of the people to the country.Township government is a bridge to connect with the masses.Most of the work is face-to-face with the masses,which plays a link role between the preceding and the following,and plays an irreplaceable role in the township and the village.Therefore,it is of great significance to pay attention to the positive role of incentive in the work of township government,establish and improve the incentive mechanism of township staff,and promote the rapid improvement of the quality and ability of township government staff.This thesis takes T town of Luquan District as the research object,which has a strong momentum of urbanization.The main research contents are as follows.First,the incentive status for government staff will be investigated in T town.Combined with the successful experience of incentive and incentive mechanism at home and abroad,using the methods of questionnaire and interview,this thesis makes a comprehensive study on the actual work intensity,work content,work ability,quality level,personal appeal and other contents of township staff.Then,it finds out the shortcomings and loopholes in the incentive of T town staff.Through the analysis of the results,five problems are found: insufficient material incentive,too little training incentive,incomplete promotion incentive,negative effect of spiritual incentive and lack of effective assessment of honor incentive.The reasons of incentive resources,traditional ideology and culture,promotion mode,competition mode and so on are analyzed.Finally,the thesis puts forward the improvement of incentive of township government.From the aspects of optimizing salary design,implementing "broadband salary increase",establishing a good administrative and cultural environment,and improving the promotion system of civil servants,this thesis puts forward some countermeasures and suggestions to improve the incentive system of township civil servants.Therefore,with the in-depth understanding of the incentive theory and practice,the incentive construction and improvement of our government staff get more development.The use of incentives to mobilize the enthusiasm and enthusiasm of staff will also effectively improve its efficiency,the management level and efficiency of the government.
