Research On The Compatibility Between Socialism And Market Economy

The compatibility between socialism and market economy is a major problem in the history of Marxist development,which can be solved mainly by the compatibility between socialistic public ownership and market economy.Whether socialist public ownership can be combined with market economy is related to the future of socialism with Chinese characteristics and the success or failure of market economy system reform.Under the highly centralized planned economy system,scholars mostly denied the existence of commodity production within national ownership with the theory of external causes of commodity production",which could not reasonably respond to the compatibility between socialism and market economy.Initially,it's necessary to clarify what kind of socialism we are talking about.Socialism has different stages of historical development.Different understandings of the stages of socialist development will lead to different conclusions on the compatibility of socialism with commodity production and market economy.The socialism We are talking about is different from the socialism put forward by Marx and Engles and the socialism proposed by Stalin and Mao Zedong,which has not yet completed the task of eliminating the exploiting class and is still in the transitional and primary stage of socialism.We need to combine the relationship between inside the production unit and the production units",and grasp the compatibility between socialism and market economy in the historical process.Under the highly centralized planned economy system,scholars regarded the country as a large production unit.They discussed the compatibility between socialism and commodity production from inside the production unit".They believed that the means of production of state-owned enterprises belonged to the state,exchanging products between enterprises did not transfer ownership,and they denied the existence of commodity production within national ownership.It has become a serious practical consequence.After the reform of the economic system in China,the ownership and management rights of state-owned enterprises are separated.Different state-owned enterprises are production units with different interests.The relationship between state-owned enterprises belongs to the relationship between production units".The exchanges between different production units need to recognize each other.The exchanges of interests and equivalence will inevitably lead to commodity relations between state-owned enterprises.When state-owned enterprises become members of the market forces,market economy naturally replaces planned economy.In the process of achieving compatibility between socialism and market economy better,we need to adhere to the correct direction of the reform of socialist market economy system and deal with the relationship between government and market.In the process of adhering to the subjective position of public ownership,we should not only prevent the left deviation of completely eliminating private ownership,but also prevent the right deviation of overall privatization.When dealing with the relationship between government and market,we should prevent the neoliberal tendency of overemphasizing the decisive role of market and opposing government intervention,as well as the wrong tendency of overemphasizing the role of government and advocating the return of planned economy,so that we can develop the advantages of the socialist market economy system further and make unremitting efforts to realize the Chinese dream of the great rejuvenation of the Chinese nation.
