With the aggravation of the aging of the population, young people such as the post-80s and post-90s have gone far north to pursue their dreams. The way of providing for the aged in rural families is becoming more and more unsustainable.Relying solely on the old-age support of rural children has been unable to meet their needs for the elderly. On the other hand, the parents of rural residents do not want to hinder their children’s progress.Institutional arrangements to solve the old age security have become an important way for them to consider. Therefore, the advent of population aging and the change of pension concept have pushed the basic old-age insurance of urban and rural residents to a climax.Although urban and rural housing insurance system has been promoted for many years, there are still many problems.Children have always been an important factor for parents to consider when making decisions. Therefore,it is of great significance to study whether the factors of children affect the willingness of parents of rural residents to participate in insurance.Only by finding out the factors affecting the willingness of parents to participate in insurance, can we put forward relevant suggestions,so as to stimulate the enthusiasm of rural residents to participate in insurance, and then promote the sound development of urban and rural housing insurance system.Based on the analysis and analysis of the factors affecting rural residents’ participation in the basic endowment insurance for urban and rural residents, this paper deeply studies the influence of children’s factors.First of all, this paper introduces the research background and expounds the relevant concepts and economic theories after collating the relevant literature on basic old-age insurance for urban and rural residents.Secondly,it introduces the development history of the basic endowment insurance for urban and rural residents in ShougUang City and analyzes the current status quo.It has obtained the three-party payment financing structure is not reasonable enough, the system continuity is lacking;the level of farmers’ payment is low, resulting in the gap between the old and the poor.Larger;there are fewer full-time employees in the pension insurance, and the problem of information lag.Thirdly, through the data obtained from the questionnaire, the author describes the statistical analysis and cross-tab analysis of the individual characteristics, children’s situation, cognition and participation, and policy satisfaction that affect the farmers’ willingness to participate in the insurance, and then further influence the rural residents in Shouguang City.A regression analysis was conducted on the child factors of the insured contributions. The data of the children’s factors obtained in the questionnaire were interpreted by the binary logistic model, and the rural residents’ willingness to participate was mainly determined by the number of children, the number of sons, the work of the children, whether they lived with their children, the frequency of children’s visits, and the relationship with their children. Finally, according to the research conclusions,at the macro level,it proposes to adjust the fund raising structure of the fond, improve government subsidies, increase the income of farmers, and study the policy of endowment insurance;increase the number of full-time personnel and promote the proposal of rural social security networking.According to the empirical conclusions, increase the concern for parents, communicate with parents more;consider the parents’suggestions on how to care for the elderly.
