The Development Of Supreme Court Of The United States And The Rights Of Black Jury

In the process of pushing forward American history and social progress,the Supreme Court of the United States is a unique driver.It is not only a government department,but also a judicial institution.More importantly,it continuously promotes social progress and development through its own unique way of influencing society—judgment.The jury system is a political system explicitly mentioned in the U.S.Constitution and its amendments,and its running status determines whether it can fulfill the sacred mission entrusted to it by the Constitution.Unfair jury will undermine the development of the jury system itself.The existence of racial discrimination in the jury is undoubtedly a fatal injustice.In the early jury discrimination,it was more racial discrimination against black people.Black people are not entitled to a fair jury trial,nor can they participate injury trials and become jurors.Supreme Court of the United States,as the highest judicial organ of the Federation,has been sentenced in black jury cases many times.The Federal Supreme Court's attitude towards black jury rights is not consistent.In different historical periods,the Supreme Court has different attitudes towards black jury rights,but the general trend is to gradually promote the protection of black equal juries.The attitude of Supreme Court of the United States in each specific case is caused by various specific reasons.Through the analysis of specific cases in different periods,this paper demonstrates the changes in the judicial attitude of Supreme Court on the issue of black jury rights and its important influence on the development of black jury rights.
