| Since 2014,because of the rapid expansion in the Middle East and even the“building a Khalifah country" and the production of various terrorist activities all over the world,the the extremist organization IS was once regarded as the "leader" of the international terrorist forces after the "Al Qaeda".However,under the continued attack of the international united anti-terrorism forces,the entity of the so-called"Khalifah state"was destroyed after only three years,this incident triggered a huge impact in the international terrorist network.Although IS as a terrorist organization has not been completely eliminated,a new situation of international terrorism is gradually taking shape.The new situation of international terrorism presents some new features,such as the threat of terrorism spreading to more countries,lone wolf terror attacks increasingly becoming the most important mode of terror attacks,.terrorist activities increasingly rely on network tools,The massive return of "jihadists" merged with local extremist organizations and separatist forces.The global security situation will undergo a new round of impact,but the extent of the impact will vary depending on the region.Among them,the China-ASEAN region is one of the regions most affected.The return of a large number of jihadists,combined with the fact that the region has the largest number of Muslim residents in the world,many existed extreme organizations and separatist forces and the complex political,economic and social environment make Southeast Asia the area,after the Middle East and North Africa,where the potential terrorism threat is most serious.facing such a severe situation,it is not only necessary but urgent to strengthen and deepen anti-terrorism cooperation between China and ASEAN to cope with the challenges.Looking at achievements of anti-terrorism cooperation between China and ASEAN,we can see that there are still many inadequacies and obstacles for further cooperation.This article attempts to put forward some targeted suggestions about strategies based on the analysis of these obstacles. |
