Research Of US-Japan Alliance And Its Impact On China’s Peripheral Security

As one of the most important geo-strategic arrangements for the United States in the Asia-Pacific region after World War II,the US-Japan alliance has become the main carrier for the United States to implement its "hegemonic" policy in the Asia-Pacific region.With the proposal of the "Asia-Pacific Rebalancing" strategy and the "Eastward Shift" of the US global strategy,the strategic position of the US-Japan alliance in the US global alliance system has continued to rise,and the level of military integration and the institutionalization of the alliance has also improved significantly.In the context of the competition between China and the United States,the US-Japan alliance’s attempt to curb China’s rise by strengthening security cooperation is self-evident As far as the security situation in China’s periphery is concerned,the strengthening of the US-Japan alliance has increased the pressure on China’s peripheral security to a certain extent.As the "multilateral" trend of the US-Japan alliance is further strengthened,China’s surrounding security environment will also be invaded by more countries inside and outside the Asia-Pacific area,and the security situation will be further complicated.In addition,as the US-Japan alliance uses security issues to force neighboring countries in the Asia-Pacific region to "select border teams",the "dual" pattern of long-term security and economic relations in the Asia-Pacific region will be further solidified,which will form a certain stage for China to build a new Asia-Pacific order Challlenge.Facing the impact of the US-Japan alliance on the security environment around China,China should comprehensively formulate a development strategy for maritime security,promote regional multilateral security cooperation,and build a new Asia-Pacific order based on China’s new security concept,so as to better deal with the problems from the United States.The strategic pressure of the Japan-Japan alliance has reduced the negative impact of the US-Japan alliance on the security environment around China.
