During the cooperation of Marx and Engels, special attention was paid to the exploited and oppressed peasant groups, and research on peasant problems began. After Marx's death,Engels faced the contradictions caused by the rapid development of the capitalist society and the reality that the socialist parties in France and Germany violated the interests of farmers in order to gain political power. The necessity of the opportunist viewpoint within the party, with his illness, completed the landmark work on peasant issues in his later years, namely the "French and German Peasant Issues".This document not only helped guide the treatment of peasant problems in Western European society at that time, but also had practical inspiration for the prominent peasant problems in Eastern society.China has been a country with a large agricultural population since ancient times.Farmers have made great contributions to the creation of social material wealth. However, due to various factors, farmers have a low social status and have a limited role in the proletarian revolution and socialist construction. In the real world, the phenomenon of not paying attention to peasant groups and ignoring their interests in various aspects occurs from time to time, which is not conducive to social stability and national development. At this stage,China has taken the issue of properly handling agriculture and rural peasants as the focus of the work of the party and the country. In the Central Government's No.1 Document for many years, specific arrangements have been made to solve the problems of agriculture, rural areas and farmers. It also proposes the implementation of the strategy of rural revitalization, which is complementary to the country's current comprehensive poverty alleviation in rural areas. This shows that China attaches great importance to the issues concerning agriculture, rural areas, and farmers,as well as the confidence and determination to solve them.Of course,in the process of dealing with the issues concerning agriculture, rural areas, and farmers in China,we have always adhered to the Marxist peasant theory, especially Engels 'in-depth thinking on the peasant problem in his later years.Enriched and developed this idea, making it universal. Therefore,Engels' s peasant thought in his later years is an important theoretical basis for solving the three rural issues in China. This article is divided into four parts. The first chapter introduces the reasons, the significance of the research, the current research status and research methods, and the second chapter introduces Engels' thoughts on peasant issues in his later years, from the economic background, political background and theoretical basis;Chapter III discusses the main content of Engels' s peasant thoughts in his later years, and affirms its theoretical contribution from the perspective of scientific socialism;Chapter IV combines the actual situation of the three rural problems currently facing China And rural revitalization strategy, and put forward effective methods and measures to solve the three rural issues.
