A Study On The Case Work Involved In The Community Integration Of The Elderly Living Alone In The City

According to the statistics bulletin of civil affairs development in 2018,by the end of 2018,there were 249.49 million people aged 60 and over,accounting for17.9% of the total population,of which 166.58 million people aged 65 and over,accounting for 11.9% of the total population.The aging population is increasing,the urbanization process is accelerating,and the family core is deepening.According to the report of "Research on urban home-based elderly care service in China" released by the National Commission on aging in 2006,the proportion of empty nest families(including living alone)of the urban elderly in China has reached 49.7%,and the proportion of empty nest families(including living alone)of the elderly in large and medium-sized cities is higher,reaching 56.1%.The number of living alone elderly in cities is growing.Influenced by many factors,such as physiology,psychology,economy,etc,some of the elderly living alone in cities are difficult to integrate into the community life,and lack of sense of happiness and participation,which affects their quality of life,even social harmony and stability.The intervention of case work can help the elderly living alone in the city to rebuild their cognition,increase their confidence,improve social support network and enhance their happiness,guide them to integrate into the community life faster,and effectively maintain social stability.This paper takes the elderly living alone in the s community city of Chongqing as the research object,analyzes the specific influencing factors and characteristics of the service object that are difficult to integrate into the community life by collecting the basic information of the case owner on the spot,uses the professional method of case work,establishes the service goal and plan based on the theory of advantage perspective,rational emotional therapy and social support,and guides the service toLike real integration into community life.The research is divided into six parts: the first part is the introduction,which mainly introduces the research background,core concept definition,literature review,research significance,research theory and methods;the second part is the current situation and influencing factors of the community integration of the urban elderly living alone,mainly introduces the basic living conditions of the urban elderly living alone and the influencing factors of the community integration,as well as the case work The third part mainly introduces the basic situation and needs assessment of the case,mainly describes why to choose the case,as well as the problems and needs of the case owner.The fourth part mainly introduces how to implement the case and evaluation of social workers,including the case intervention service design,the case intervention implementation process and the case effect evaluation;the fifth part is mainly the reflection and suggestions on the case work intervention to solve the problem of community integration of the elderly living alone in the city.The sixth part is the conclusion,which mainly summarizes the whole article.This paper provides a new way to solve the problem of community integration of the elderly living alone in the city by using case work method,and also accumulates some practical experience for the elderly social work and the development of community social work.
