Intervention Study On Social Work Cases Of The Problems Of Social Integration In The Elderly Living Alone

With the development of the society and the intensification of the aging of the population,the elder people who live alone are clearly the vulnerable group in a modern society.They received the widespread concern from the whole society.According to the survey,they are facing other problems,such as the transition of their family structure,social position and social role,the reduction of their own resources,the lack of necessary daily care,limited social connection and the under-served communication and emotional support from others.They are prone to be depressed and self-seclusion when dealing with those problems alone.They have severe mental loneliness,can't adapt to the current environment,and obviously disconnect with the mainstream society.Although the country has gradually developed pension services to solve the problems,these policies are not systematic enough and exclude the particularity of the elderly living alone.Therefore,they fail to solve the multiple problems effectively and promote their integration into the society.From the perspective of social integration,this paper discusses the aspects of the adaption,involvement and connection to the society of W.It can not only enrich social endowment but also has certain theoretical and practical value for the extension of social integration theory.During the interview,the author assisted the client to solve their social integration problem due to changes in personal circumstances through multiple interviews and professional skills,which enabled the client to form a positive self-awareness,improve her social support network,and enhance the client's participation.It also helps promote the integration of the client and the social environment.At the same time,it summarizes and talks about how to improve the integration ability and the living quality of the elderly living alone from the aspects of social worker intervention and the effectiveness of case intervention.
