The Model worker originated from the period of the revolutionary war and developed and grew in the 1950 s.From the time of the Revolutionary War to the end of the 1950 s,the image of labor model and its role have undergone significant changes.In order to fully demonstrate the characteristics of the changes of the model workers,this paper discusses the model workers during the revolutionary war,the period of national economic recovery,the construction period of the "Five-Year Plan" and the "Great Leap Forward",and summarizes the image characteristics and changes of the model workers.Since the founding of new China,the labor model group is large and diverse,so this article focuses on the research of labor model workers,especially the workers in the first-line industry.In the course of discussion,this article not only uses the data of the national model workers,but also incorporates the archives of Changshou County,trying to present the multiple faces of the model worker group.During the period of the revolutionary war,the model workers showed the image of "revolutionary" model workers who devoted themselves to the work of the revolution,and they made important contributions to the Chinese Communist Party 's revolutionary cause.The labor model originated from the Soviet Union and was first born in the Central Soviet Area.It was subsequently active in the mass production movement and rectification movement in the border areas of Shaanxi,Gansu,and Ning,and later played an important role in the war of liberation.The most typical of the model worker groups are Wu Manyou and Zhao Zhankui,who are role models for the people in the border areas.By selecting labor models,the Communist Party of China has established the concept of "labor glory" among the masses for the first time,mobilized the enthusiasm of the masses in work,production and war,and promoted the victory of the new democratic revolution.During the period of national economic recovery,worker model workers showed the image of "old ox-style" model workers who were "loyal to the party,working hard,and willing to give."
