Research On Xi Jinping's Thought Of Global Governance

With the trends of economic globalization,political multipolarization,social informatization and the "global village" era coming,national and regional governance is gradually moving towards global governance.In order to better deal with the increasing problems of global governance better,Brandt,chairman of the International Development Committee,first proposed the theory of "global governance" in Germany in 1990.Originated in the western theory of global governance,it extends the subject of governance from the traditional national center to the common governance mode of sovereign countries and international organizations,meanwhile the object of governance extends from one country affairs to global affairs.At the same time,the theory leads to the reconstruction of global governance objectives,methods and values,and it becomes a new paradigm of "explaining the world" and a new guidance of global governance.However,the theory and practice of global governance based on "western centralism" have hegemonic logic and "unilateralism" tendency,which put the practice of global governance into a dilemma.Since the 21 st century,the hot issue of global governance has been emerging,and the governance deficits of global economy,politics,climate and network have become increasingly prominent,which make a serious impact on the original global governance system and mechanism.Confronted with more and more governance problems and the failure of western governance theory,global governance system reform has become the consensus of the international community.As China,a responsible nation,has been "approaching the center of the world stage as never before",the international community is eager to listen to China's voice and look forward to China's plan.Since the 18 th National Congress of the Communist Party of China,the Party Central Committee with General Secretary Xi Jinping at the core,adheres to the initial idea of "strives for both the wellbeing of the Chinese people and human progress".In 2015,it was the first time that the concept of "wide consultation,joint contribution and shared benefits" explicitly puts forward in public,and it was explained in many occasions and in many important documents.The new governance concept has gradually formed,which represents the wishes of most countries and is oriented towards the future.It also shows the spirit of China and reflects China's solution to the global governance.Under the guideline of Marxist materialist dialectic,this paper takes Xi Jinping's thought of global governance as the research object.It mainly uses the methods of comparative analysis,historical analysis,case analysis and other research methods to comprehensively analyze Xi Jinping's global governance concept and its contemporary value from the main body,object,way and value dimension of global governance.This paper is divided into four chapters.The first chapter is the introduction part,which focuses on the research status and the research questions,including the background,literature review,ideas and methods,content and innovations.The second chapter explains the theoretical basis and practical basis of Xi Jinping's global governance thoughts.The theoretical basis includes Marx's guidance on global governance,Chinese Marxism thought on global governance,the extraction of excellent China's traditional culture,and Western theory of global governance.Besides,the practice foundation consists of China's experience in global governance at different times and Xi Jinping's governance experience in politics.Moreover,this chapter also discusses the formation process of Xi Jinping's global governance thought.The third chapter is the systematic explanation of Xi Jinping's global governance thought.According to Xi Jinping's important speeches since the 18 th National Congress of the Party,this part analyzes the global governance thought of Xi Jinping from the four elements which are subject,the object,the way and the value.The fourth chapter takes the theory of global governance as the theoretical basis,and takes China's participation in global governance as the research object and case.According to the principle of unification of theory and practice,it analyzes the concrete practice of Xi Jinping's global governance concept.Xi Jinping's global governance concept in the new era will help us understand the latest theoretical achievements of China's Marxist global governance thought and provide guidance for us to accurately evaluate China's participation in global governance policies and practices.
