A Study On The Participation Behavior Of Rural Elderly In Community Mutual Aid Activities Basedon TPB

Due to the hollowing out and aging of China’s rural areas and the initial establishment of modern pension system,the elderly in rural areas are faced with the dual dilemma of weakening the supply capacity of family pension services and insufficient supply of social pension services.In order to alleviate the plight of the elderly in rural areas,with the support of the state and local governments,rural areas have actively carried out local mutual support activities.The activity of rural mutual assistance for the aged is based on the actual development of the rural community for the aged,which is a process of mutual service for the aged.As the main receiver and provider of rural community mutual aid pension services,the willingness and behavior of the elderly to participate directly affect the development of rural community mutual aid pension activities.This study takes the survey data of L town in Hubei Province as an example,using 320 micro data obtained,and based on the research perspective of the theory of planned behavior,analyzes the factors that affect the participation of the elderly in the community mutual support activities.Through the construction of path structure model,this paper empirically analyzes the role path of the elderly’s participation attitude,subjective norms and behavior control and the elderly’s participation willingness on the elderly’s participation behavior,which provides the relevant basis for further promoting the elderly’s participation behavior and promoting the development of community mutual assistance type elderly care activities.The results show that: first,the data and path model are more suitable,the theory of planned behavior is suitable and applicable in the research of the elderly community mutual assistance pension activities,and the three cognitive potential variables of the elderly’s participation attitude,subjective norms,perceptual behavior control,and the willingness to participate have a positive and significant impact on the elderly’s participation behavior.There is a positive and significant relationship between the willingness to participate and the participation behavior of the elderly,but the average of the intention to participate in the elderly is higher than the averageof the response to the participation behavior of the elderly,which indicates that the willingness to participate in the elderly has not been completely transformed into the participation behavior.Second,the elderly in rural areas think that their own emotional satisfaction value,health promotion value and other variables of participating in the community-based elderly care activities are measured.They think that the village committees participating in the community-based elderly care activities participate in the mobilization,the villagers around them participate in the demonstration and other subjective normative measurement variables.They think that the participation distance,participation skills and participation deed of the community-based elderly care activities The most important factors that determine the behavior of the elderly in rural areas are the variables of perception and behavior control.Therefore,according to the conclusion of the study,this paper proposes to start from the following five aspects,in order to enhance the willingness of the elderly to participate and further promote the elderly to actively participate in practice.First,we should make use of the existing means of publicity,strengthen the publicity of community mutual assistance pension activities,and improve the positive cognition of the elderly to participate in activities.The second is to explore the regional "time bank" system and decentralized point building mechanism,so as to enhance the participation motivation of the elderly and reduce the sense of participation distance.The third is to establish a professional service mechanism and risk dispersion mechanism of mutual assistance for the aged,so as to improve the internal participation skills of the elderly and reduce the participation risk.Fourth,gather professional resources,improve the service ability of mutual aid points,and strengthen the medical service ability and attraction of mutual aid activities.Fifthly,we should organize activities and cultivate the spirit of mutual support for the aged through multiple channels,and enhance the awareness of common support for the aged.
