| Extensive residents’ participation is the inexhaustible power source of community development, and the governance of community public space depends on the joint efforts of all residents in the community.Community social organization is an important carrier to promote citizens’ political participation, which can smooth the expression of residents’ interests. It plays a unique role in promoting community harmony, public participation and helping the transformation of government functions. In the third session of the 17 th CPC Central Committee, the importance of cultivating rural community social organizations was emphasized, and various rural social organizations were required to open up ways for villagers’ public participation and improve the level of rural community public welfare services.Through literature review,it can be found that the researches on Residents’ community participation and community social organizations at home and abroad are mostly urban community social organizations and urban residents’ community participation, while the researches on rural community level are less, and the researches on the factors influencing villagers’ participation in community social organizations are lack of depth, comprehensiveness and explanatory power. Therefore, from the perspective of villagers, based on the theory of planned behavior, this paper discusses the influencing factors of villagers’ participation in community social organization behavior,in order to build an analysis framework.Taking Wenjiang District of Chengdu City as an example, two typical communities were selected, and the sample data were obtained by questionnaire. Then the statistical analysis software was used to analyze and study the relationship and influence of each variable,so as to demonstrate the reality of the hypothesis.Through empirical analysis,we can get the following conclusions: first, the encouragement and approval of villagers’ friends, family members and community neighborhood committees will have a significant impact on their intention and actual behavior to participate in community social organizations;Secondly, the villagers who have more free time and energy are more willing to take part in the community social organizations. If they have the right opportunities and channels to reduce the difficulty of participation, the participation behavior of villagers will be easier to achieve;Thirdly, most of the villagers with participation intention tend to carry out participation behavior;Fourthly, villagers’ evaluation of community social organizations will affect their participation intention, but will not affect their actual behavior. The villagers’ participation attitude is based on the satisfaction of interest needs, and the reason that the positive participation attitude does not affect the actual participation behavior may be that the villagers will judge, calculate and compare the cost and benefit of participation before implementing the behavior. When the benefit of participation is less than the cost, the villagers will not implement their own participation behavior. |
