Economic globalization and the rapid development of science and technology are promoting the continuous development of human society, but at the same time, there are some phenomena that are not very harmonious. On the one hand, the distribution problem that has plagued people for a long time has not disappeared, and the gap between rich and poor between people is still widening;on the other hand, because of the development of the times, the manifestations of social justice problems have become more diversified and complicated, and the demands of the "recognition" have attracted more and more attention. Thus, the problem of social justice is still an urgent problem in today's society.Marx proposals that the realization of social justice can not be separated from distribution justice. And in order to realize distribution justice,we must revolutionize capitalist private ownership.Only in this way can we fundamentally eliminate the reality of the direct separation of workers from the means of production,so that all members of society are at the same starting point in the initial distribution of the means of production, and the society finally realize the real sense of distribution justice. And Honneth is more from the perspective of recognition to examine social conflict, that the realization of social justice can not be separated from the mutual recognition between subjects.Social justice is gradually realized in the process of people's constant struggle for recognition.Although,Honneth's recognition of justice provides a good dimension for Chinese society to explore and solve social justice problems. But we should also see its own limitations. It is undeniable that recognition is indeed a legitimate demand for social justice, but the unfair and unreasonable distribution is the more important factor that causes the problem of social justice.Only from the perspective of economic interests can wefundamentally solve the problem of social justice. This paper is mainly divided into three parts: the first part, which briefly explains the relationship between "distribution" and "justice ",and summarizes the ideological origin and main contents of Marx's thought of distribution justice. In the second part, which expounds that Honneth's theory of recognition is the understanding of social justice, and systematically summarizes Honneth's theoretical source and core content of recognition of justice. The third part focuses on the comparative study of Marx and Honneth's view of justice.By comparing the two views of justice, this paper analyzes the rationality of the two views of justice and the limitation that Honneth's theory of justice based on recognition can not be ignored, and this view of recognition of justice should be incorporated into the Marxist perspective to explore the possibility and significance of the two complementary views of justice,in order to build a harmonious society for our country to provide a useful reference.
