Study On German Democratic Socialist Economic Thought

After the reform and opening up,the trend of democratic socialism has spread widely in China.Democratic socialism is a general term of the ideas of the European Social Democratic Party(including the British Labor Party,the German Social Democratic Party,the French Socialist Party and the Swedish Social Democratic Party).Studying the typical representative of democratic socialism,German Democratic Socialism,especially its economic thoughts,can reflect the characteristics,connotation and essence of German Democratic Socialism,which will help us clarify our understanding of democratic socialism and draw a clear line between democratic socialism and scientific socialism,and provide reference for us to improve the efficiency of China’s economic governance in the comparison.This paper is divided into four parts:The first part is the introduction.This part clarifies the background,reason and significance of this paper.This paper comprehensively and systematically combs the domestic and overseas research status of German Democratic Socialist economic thought.On this basis,the basic ideas,methods,innovations and limitations of the research are explained.The second part mainly studies the background,theoretical origin and forming process of German Democratic Socialist economic thought.Firstly,it defines and demonstrates the related concepts of German democratic socialism Secondly,the background of its emergence is studied from four aspects of politics,economy,culture and society.Thirdly,it studies the theoretical origin of German Democratic Socialist economic thought,focusing on La Salle’s opportunism,Bernstein’s revisionism,Keynesian economics,neoliberalism and Marxist political economy.Finally,it investigates the forming process of German Democratic Socialist economic thought from four historical periods: recovery period,take-off period,crisis period and developing periodThe third part mainly summarizes the main content of German Democratic Socialist economic thought.It discusses the main contents of German Democratic Socialist economic thought from four dimensions: economic development concept,ownership structure,distribution policy and balance policy.The fourth part mainly expounds the evaluation and reference function of German Democratic Socialist Economic Thought.Firstly,it gives a positive evaluation of the valueoriented economic development goal,the economic development strategy suitable for the national conditions and the practical significance of the balanced economic policy involved in the German Democratic Socialist economic thought.Secondly,it points out that the German Democratic Socialism economic thought has three main problems,that is,the misinterpretation of the basic theoretical viewpoint of Marxism,the incompleteness of gradually improved development strategy and the drag of "high level" welfare policy on the economic society.Finally,it criticizes and points out the reference function of the German Democratic Socialist Economic Thought.
