Research On The Contributions Of Intellectuals Returning From The United States In The Early Days Of The People's Republic Of China

When new China was founded,intellectuals at home and abroad became enthusiastic and actively participated in the construction of new China.However,due to the changes in the international situation and the US policy towards China,Chinese intellectuals studying in the United States were prevented from returning to the mainland by the American authorities and the reactionary government of the Democratic Party of China.Faced with this situation,intellectuals in the United States fought bravely to back home.Dues to the concerted efforts of intellectuals in the United States,the Chinese Communist Party and the masses,a large number of intellectuals in the United States successfully returned to mainland China,forming a wave of homecoming.Facts have proved that these intellectuals who insisted on returning to China in spite of outside obstacles made great contributions to new China's science and education,economy,health,national defense and other fields,and laid a solid foundation for the development of various undertakings in the future.In the new era,the realization of national rejuvenation needs the concerted efforts of intellectuals at home and abroad.Therefore,this paper hopes to understand the role of returned overseas intellectuals in promoting national development and progress by studying the main contributions of returned intellectuals studying in the United States in the early days of the founding of new China,inherit our party's excellent tradition of attaching importance to intellectuals.In addition,through the study of the work done by the party and the people in the early years of the People's Republic of China to win the return of intellectuals studying in the United States,it will provide reference for us to carry out the work of returning overseas talents in the future.This paper is mainly carried out from three parts: First,the background and basic information of the returned intellectuals studying in the United States at the early stage of the founding of the People's Republic of China.First of all,starting from the international background and the domestic background,this paper expounds the difficult road of returning intellectuals studying in the United States and the great efforts made by the party and the masses to win the return of intellectuals studying in the United States.Secondly,starting from the number and group characteristics of returning intellectuals from the United States,the author tries to understand the basic situation of returning intellectuals from the United States.Second,we study the main contributions of the intellectuals who returned from the United States after the founding of new China.Contribution research mainly focuses on the four fields of science,education,economy and national security.Third,it is the realistic enlightenment of the intellectuals returning from the United States in the early days of the founding of new China.Through the previous studies,we have understood the influence of returned intellectuals on China's social development,ceaselessly improved the working mechanism of returned intellectuals,actively united returned intellectuals from abroad,and played their leading role in returning.
