A Study On The Classified Management Of Prisoners In Medium Alert Prison

Prison is the execution organ of the national penalty,which shoulders the mission of the last procedure of the national criminal law.Because the prison in our country is in the period of reform and transformation as well as the society,there are more and more contradictions in the process of criminal management.In the face of these contradictions,if we still use the traditional method to manage criminals,it will inevitably cause the instability of the prison and society,and the management of prison and criminal innovation is imperative.In view of this,this study refers to the relevant literature and work practice at home and abroad,takes A prison in Jiangsu Province as an example,studies the classification management mode of prisoners in medium-security prison.First of all,by consulting the domestic and foreign literatures on the classified management of criminals and summarizing the relevant work practices,this study points out the necessity of carrying out this work and the main contents.Second,through the research and analysis on the relevant situation of A prison,this study points out that there are some problems in the current classification of prisoners in medium-security prisons,such as the lack of standard of criminal classification,the lack of scientific and objective basis for the classification of prisoners,the lack of follow-up and adjustment of criminal classification,and the supporting management measures after the classification of criminals are not in place,etc..Third,based on the experience of the classified management of prisoners at home and abroad,this paper summarizes the way of carrying out the classified management of prisoners through risk assessment.At last,some suggestions are put forward to perfect the classification management of A prison.
