Objective:This paper collects and excavates the relevant data of the aged population in Hebei Province,investigates and understands the present situation and problems of the aged,analyzes the needs of the aged and their influencing factors,and then puts forward policy suggestions for formulating and perfecting the aged service in Hebei Province.Methods: This paper obtained the data of old-age service demand and influencing factors of the elderly in Hebei province through questionnaire survey,and used quantitative analysis method to make statistical description and regression analysis of the literature and survey data to clarify the demand of old-age service in Hebei province and its influencing factors.Results:1.In the choice of old-age care for the elderly,the majority of the will is to provide for the elderly at home,accounting for 91.4%;nearly one third of the elderly surveyed indicated that they need the care of others;the prevalence of chronic diseases among the elderly surveyed was 67.3%;the participation in recreational activities is relatively single,mainly for walking;31.2% of the elderly self-assessment of different degrees of mental depression.2.marital status,intergenerational relationships,and geographical and pension choice were statistically significant.age,education,self-assessment of health,chronic disease,housing type and household nature 5 variables were statistically significant with the need for daily life care.Sex,age,education,self-assessment of health,chronic disease,mode of residence and hukou nature were statistically significant with the need for medical services.There are significant differences in education,self-assessment of health,chronic diseases,housing types,intergenerational relations,and regional demand for recreational activities.Gender,age,self-assessment of health,chronic disease,intergenerational relationship,geographical need for spiritual comfort have significant differences.Conclusion:1.Most of the elderly people in Hebei Province are willing to provide for the aged mainly at home,pension institutions can not play a supplementary role.2.Tthe current needs of the elderly in daily life care,health care,recreational activities,spiritual comfort and so on are not met.3.The development of pension services between urban and rural areas is uneven.
