A Study On The Aged Demand And Its Influencing Factors Of The Elderly In Beijing

Providing for the aged is an everlasting topic. Elders should be looked after properly. When they fell sick, they would be treated. They should have opportunity to contribute to the construction of our socialism.They should fell existent,useful and happy. To realize these goals, we have a long way to go.Nowadays, it’s more indispensable for some elders to spend their old age in a home for the aged,and this thing has been a hot theme in the academic research. Not only those disabled or forlorn elders, some healthy elders show their interests to the geracomium.This paper aims at the way to spend elder life in the geracomium, in the view of the elders. It discuses the different condition and viewpoint between those who have been a member of the geracomium and those who want to be. I was inspect to find some influencing factors for the elders’ choice,figure out who need geracomium more,and make some proposals to the government and the society.The study results were seen as clear evidence that the requirement of elders were affected by complicated factors. Their idea of life responsibility, their physical condition and their children’s living distance are the top three elements.The price and service quality of the geracomium also impose restrictions on the elders’ wish. At the ending, this paper offer some proposals to set up an reasonable and effectively path for geracomium cause.
