Comparative Study On Social Political Movements In Central Asian Countries

With the disintegration of the Soviet Union and the independence of the five Central Asian countries,various hidden issues existing in the Soviet era have been showing up,concerning religious,cultural,economic and national aspects,and the American hegemonism has started to spread all over Central Asia.Because of the special geographical location and rich mineral resources of Central Asia,many countries have been casting covetous eyes on it,attempting to gain a favorable position in the geopolitical game in Central Asia.Along with the increasingly complicated situation in Central Asian countries,various social movements have frequently erupted.These social movements with different characteristics contain important research significance.This paper will first introduce the relevant theories of social movements and the general situation of social political movements in Central Asian countries.Afterwards,four different types of social movements will be analyzed,and then the regular characteristics that trigger social movements will be derived.On the basis of above analysis and research,this paper will provide relevant suggestions on the construction of the Silk Road Economic Belt in Central Asia.
