A Study Of Lenin's National Theory And Policy

Lenin's national theory plays an important role in Marxist theory system.It had guided the Russian people to solve the ethnic problems and establish a unified federal state on the basis of voluntary union,and at the same time,it had pointed out the direction for national independence of the colonial and semi-colonial people.Today,our country and other countries are facing the threat of ethnic separatism.Therefore,Lenin's national theory and policy is a valuable subject,which still has meaning for countries to deal with national friction in the modern era.Based on Lenin's classical text,this paper aims to systematically comb the main contents of Lenin's national theory.This article is divided into three sections and introduces the background and theoretical origin,the main content and the enlightenment.This paper considers that Lenin's national theory is profound,and its main includes:national liberation is a part of the proletariat revolution all over the world;national self-determination is the prerequisite for thenational independence of enslaved peoples;the ultimate goal of the proletariat revolution is national equality and unity;the multi-ethnic state structure is the guarantee to realize national equality and unity.This article believes that Lenin's national theory provides methodological guidance for our country.China had better make use of the advantages of the system of regional ethnic autonomy,oppose nationalism and promote the common prosperity.Through the above-mentioned research,this paper tries to comb Lenin's national theory carefully and summarize Lenin's experience in dealing with ethnic problems,which provides reference for our country to coordinate ethnic relations and realize the common development of all ethnic groups.
