During the World War One, Led by Lenin, Bolshevistic party established socialism in Russia. Faced with the strangling, blockade from the imperialistic countries, Lenin gradually set up his own international political ideas so as to consolidate the power and set a nicer international circumstance by some years'researching, the core of his international political thoughts is how to deal with the relationship between the two opposing systems, socialism and capitalism. His international political ideas consist of four parts, namely, theory of epoch, thought of world revolution, thought of peaceful co-existence and theory of national colony, which form an ideological system of great logic. The theory of epoch is the theoretical basis; thought of world revolution is the guidance throughout the whole system; thought of peaceful co-existence is a kind of strategic choice under the guidance of thought of world revolution and it also demonstrate the flexibility of policies; theory of national colony provides theoretical support of world revolution. Lenin's theory of epoch includes two aspects. Firstly, the world was in an epoch of empire, the highest phase of capitalism, right before the proletarian revolution; secondly, war and revolution are the theme of the epoch of imperialism. The war of imperialism is inevitable, and the only way to stop wars is revolution. The thought of world revolution illustrates the relationship between revolution in one nation and world revolution and further points out how to lead world revolution. The thought of peaceful co-existence had its germ from the later half of 1919. Although the guiding thought was still world revolution, Lenin already set out studying the economic exchange among countries of different political system. Since then, Lenin gradually showed less enthusiasm toward pushing forward world revolution but was concerned more about the peaceful co-existence. He tried to continue world revolution in the special way. After the thought of peaceful co-existence was put into practice, Russia made great achievement in term of its foreign relationship. The theory of national colony is made up of two aspects. On one hand, Lenin categorized the world people into two—the suppressing and the suppressed. Such division made the proletariats and the suppressed unite, which formed the theoretical basis for the strategic policy of opposing imperialism. On the other, the proletariat should cling to the national principle of self determination. Lenin's international political thoughts reflect a series of principles: the principle of taking advantage of the conflicts between empirical nations; the principle of internationalism of proletariats; the principle of resoluteness and flexibility. These principles are of great practical value to the diplomatic practice of socialist countries.
