Analysis Of Influencing Factors Of Neighborhood Relationship In Urban Community

In traditional society,neighborhood relationship is an indispensable part of social network.In Mencius tengwengong,there is a saying: "when people live in peace and harmony,they live in harmony with each other in the countryside.That's pretty much it.In modern society,the relationship between neighbors is still playing an irreplaceable important role.From the perspective of individual community residents,neighborhood relationship is still an important way for individuals to get social support.From the perspective of community,neighborhood relationship is an important part of community construction.Despite the importance of neighborhood relationship,in modern society,interpersonal relationship between urban residents is becoming increasingly indifferent and community neighborhood relationship is declining.In order to restore the close living conditions between neighbors and rebuild the good social order at the grassroots level,scholars have discussed the factors influencing neighborhood relations from different aspects.The literature review found that the current research mainly focuses on the case study or the analysis of the net effect of a single variable by regression data,both of which ignore the fact that the occurrence of many things is the result of the interaction between factors.In this paper,through qualitative comparative analysis(QCA),20 case communities in Shanghai were systematically compared to identify the "multiple concurrence" factors affecting neighborhood relations in urban communities.The result of set-clear qualitative comparison shows that there are 4 ways to improve neighborhood level of urban community.Among them,"public platform" and "neighborhood committee" are the necessary conditions for the harmonious development of urban neighborhood relations,and "resident interaction" is close to the standard of necessary conditions.The condition variables such as "community physical space","social involvement" and "party member's role model" all have certain influence on the improvement of neighborhood relationship.The above conclusions indicate that the harmonious development of neighborhood relations in urban communities first needs to establish a public platform for residents to communicate and foster active neighborhood committees.Secondly,it is necessary to pay more attention to the three aspects of community physical space,social work and the role of party members,and cooperate with other aspects to form synergy.
