Research On Exploitation Of Time From The Perspective Of Digital Capitalism

Being the combined product of capitalism and digital information technology,Digital Capitalism is not only a new mode of production based on this technology,but also has the logic essence of general capitalism.Although they have the same purpose,which means capital proliferation,the Digital Capitalism still has its own particularity.By utilizing the characteristics of digital information technology,such as unfettered,interconnected and efficient,Digital Capitalism has spread its forceful power and achieved implicit manipulation.As one of the crucial factors for human to live and develop,"time" has certainly became the exploitation object of Digital Capitalism.The exploitation of time in Digital Capitalism can be considered from two dimensions: life and production.Firstly,Digital Capitalism has deconstructed the objectivity of time by manipulating and rewriting the concept of time in ideology.It has made people fall into the ideological trap of Digital Capitalism in daily life and forget the true meaning and sublimity of "time".Then,through the " disembedding mechanism" of capitalist relations of production,Digital Capitalism has made the society become a factory,the boundary between work and life,leisure and labor has also been more and more blurred.Therefore,by redefining "labor time" in practical activities,a large number of time became ‘unpaid working hours'.People who have lost the control of "time" in concept and practice,were forced to live a contradictory life of busyness but nothingness,which led to the universal spiritual crisis and many social problems in contemporary society.So,this article is aim to reveal the essence and methods of time exploitation of Digital Capitalism and liberate "time" from such exploitation.We must return everybody's time to everybody,make human can become the real active subject in "free time" and realize their life value and existence meaning.
