In recent years,with the accelerating pace of modern war,the accuracy of the continuous improvement,the relationship between the increasingly complex under the information condition,the feasibility assessment of the combat scheme by computer has become the focus and difficulty of the research and practice of military theory in major countries.Through the analysis of the scheme by computer before the war,to find out the short board of the scheme,which has an important and positive significance for decreasing the loss of a war and increasing the probability of victory.The paper draws on the idea of the Mission and Means Framework which is part of US military decision-making system,and puts forward the method of assessing the mission integrity of the combat scheme from capability.The method combines the representation of the combat scheme and assessing model with ontology technology to improve the reuse rate and sharing of the relevant knowledge.Using the reasoning machine to dig the implied knowledge of the combat scheme according to the rules and complete the mission of combat scheme integrity assessment.The main research work of this paper includes:1.The mission integrity assessment method of combat scheme based on MMF is designed.The method transforms the mission type,mission demand,target and other factors into the required capabilities,transforms the materiel into the capabilities which the mission has had,and matching the capabilities to complete the assessment.2.The representation of the ontology-based combat scheme is studied.On the basis of the traditional operational scheme,according to the complex characteristics of modern war under the condition of informatization,the ontology model for combat scheme is constructed.The model is a consistent representation of the knowledge of the different areas involved in the operational scheme,which improves the reusability and sharing of the knowledge.And the model constructs the corresponding semantic relation for the program elements,laying the foundation for the next step of using rule reasoning and mining implicit information.3.The semantic rules of the assessment method are studied.The assessment method proposed in this paper refers to the four parts of ”entity-capability”,”mission level(need)capability generating”,”program level(need)capability generating” and ”capability derivative”.4.A prototype system of Scheme assessing is designed and implemented,and an US military exercise is used as a case to test the method.The case is quickly instantiated based on the ontology model,and then the assessment rules are applied through the prototype system to assess the case's integrity.The result says it is integrated,which is as expected as the case was successful in history.Then another two experiments,with some materiel deleted from the scheme,are tested.The result gives some warning about the capabilities being missing,which means the appropriate missions should be added to solve the integrity question.These experiments prove the method to be reasonable and feasible.
