Study On Government Environmental Audit Of Gansu Province

Gansu Province is located in the northwest of China,with poor environmental quality and serious desertification and desertification.Taking Qilian Mountain Nature Reserve as an example,the environmental pollution caused by illegal production and operation activities of enterprises is becoming more and more serious.According to the theory of sustainable development,this paper holds that the protection of resources and environment should be the primary task in Gansu Province.Considering that Gansu government environmental auditing is restricted by many factors in practical application,and has not fully and effectively played the role of environmental protection,this paper mainly focuses on the problems of Gansu government environmental auditing in Qilian Mountain incident and a series of countermeasures.This paper uses questionnaire survey and case analysis to analyze the current situation and existing problems of Gansu government environmental audit.Firstly,based on the data collected from the questionnaire survey,this paper summarizes the current situation of environmental auditing in Gansu Province,and finds that there are some deficiencies in understanding the role of environmental auditing,team building and work development of environmental auditing in Gansu Province.Secondly,after studying the Qilian Mountain Incident,it is found that there are some problems in Gansu Province's environmental auditin g practice,such as not implementing the requirements of full coverage of national auditing,difficult to guarantee independence and poor competence.Through the analysis,it can be seen that the inadequate construction of environmental contingents and ina dequate work development are one of the reasons leading to problems in their practical work.Finally,the corresponding measures are put forward to solve the above problems.Firstly,we should strengthen the study of policies and carry out environmental au dit in an all-round way.Second,enrich the content of government environmental audit.Thirdly,we should formulate measures to ensure the independence of environmental auditing.Thirdly,we should build professional auditing team and strengthen the competence of environmental auditing.Fifth,using geographic information technology to assist auditing.This paper hopes to improve the environmental audit level of Gansu Province through these suggestions and measures,and at the same time provide some reference for the development of environmental audit of other local governments.
