Guns have played an important role in American history. The tradition of American liberalism has formed a deep-rooted gun culture. It led to the proliferation of guns. There is an important relationship between the increase in the number of guns in the United States and the deterioration of gun violence. The higher the gun support rate, the more people are killed by guns.In the face of growing gun violence crimes,Americans must find the right path to maintain their own security. The police and the gun control are two inevitable ways to control the violent crimes of guns.Since the day of its birth, the modern police had shouldered the mission of combating crime and maintaining social order and citizens' personal safety. The ultimate goal of the gun control was to ban the gun. When the flood of guns in the American society was solved, the violent crime of guns was effectively controlled. However, both methods are difficult to achieve satisfactory results.Instead of believing in the government, the American people rely more on guns to defend their own security. While holding a gun to defend its own safety,it also keeps the number of social guns rising. This is the dilemma of violent crimes in American guns.Behind this dilemma is the inequality of the American system. The inequality of this system is linked to economic factors and has been reflected in the American political system since the founding of the country. The unequal response of the American political system to the appeals of the general public and the elite. This has led to the ineffective solution to the social problem of violent crimes involving firearms.Based on this research idea, this paper is divided into an introduction,a body and a conclusion. The body part has the following three parts:The first part introduces the current situation of gun crimes in the United States. With the political ideal of pursuing freedom and equality, the first Puritans entered the North American continent, and the seeds of liberalism took root.Guns are an important weapon in their hands.During the colonial period and in various important historical stages of the United States, guns played an important role and gradually evolved into the gun culture of today's American society. With the proliferation of guns, gun crimes have become increasingly serious.Every major shooting incident will cause the American people to worry about their own security. The police and the gun control are two paths that the American people can choose to control gun violence. The second part introduces the American police system and the difficult course of controlling a gun and its causes.Although the US police system has a long history and has undergone several police reforms that keep pace with the times, the fundamental operation of the US police has not changed due to the relationship between the federal and state separation systems. The decentralized police system has made the US police system extremely confusing, and it is difficult to form a unified national crackdown on gun violence.Market-oriented privatization of policing has led to the differentiation of police resources. The long-standing racial discrimination has made the police system even one of the factors that have caused violent crimes of retaliatory firearms. There is no doubt that the role of the US police in combating violent crimes from guns is limited. The American people have carried out a century-long gun control campaign to control gun violence. However, the road to gun control by the American people is unusually bumpy. The right to hold guns in the US Constitution, the constitution must be approved by three-quarters of the state, coupled with the US Rifle Association obstruction, the gun has not made substantial progress. The third part analyzes the inequality of the American system. The institutional inequality referred to in this paper refers to the unequal status and role of different people in the American political system. This inequality is linked to economic factors and has been reflected in the American political system since the founding of the country. The unequal response of the American political system to the appeals of ordinary people and elites, gun crimes have not been effectively resolved. In short, the tradition of liberalism has created the gun culture of the United States. The problem of gun violence has been aggravated by the proliferation of guns. The existing police system is difficult to contain gun violence. The guns are full of obstacles, and the Americans can only rely on them.Keep your own safety with a gun.Behind this dilemma is the inequality of the American system.
