A Study Of Preferential Equality Of Marx

This paper focus on two priority principles,one is the freedom priority principle of the Enlightenment and the other is the equality priority principle of Marx.The principle of freedom first is based on an abstract person.It emphasizes the rational pursuit of individual freedom of thought,freedom of religion,freedom of rights,etc.Such a principle of freedom first often leads to inequality among people,which cannot realize the real emancipation of all mankind.At the same time the Enlightenment thinkers——Empiricism,rationalism,and Encyclopaedia——They were all metaphysical views.Therefore,Marx used the method of original historical materialism,based on the masses,analyzed the social relations between people,and found out the mistakes of the metaphysics of enlightenment philosophers and the supremacy of individual freedom.Finally,if we want to achieve the liberation of all mankind,then we must insist on the equality of people,only this real sense of equality is the real freedom of society.Marx's equality first principle emphasizes not only equality,but also the logical order of equality before freedom,which will eventually return to the goal of communism.Although there is not a book devoted to the idea of equality,Marx's equality theory was scattered in various works.From the perspective of historical logic,I selected six representative works and summarized the most core ideas to reflect Marx's theory of equality.From the idea of equality,gradually developed to the principle of equality.Marx's principle of equality is not an empty theory.At the same time,it is embodied in Chinese contemporary socialist construction,which is conducive to the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics.For example,policies such as Shared development,common prosperity and targeted poverty alleviation make us keenly aware of the gradual realization of equality among people.It lays a solid foundation for us to move towards our ideal goals.
