Research On Group Work Involved In Community Integration Of Disabled People

In China,there are a large number of disabled people with low living standards,w-ho also face difficulties from various aspects.Solving the problem of disabled people has become the focus of the work of the party and the government.In recent years,with the acceleration of urbanization in China,a large number of resettlement commu-nities have appeared,among which the problem of disabled people is increasingly em-erging.Due to the particularity of the disabled,more manpower,material resources and financial resources are needed to provide services for this group,while the community cannot complete its own work alone.It is of practical significance to carry out research on this group and improve the service capacity of such communities.As a new functional discipline,social work,with its unique advantages in the service of dis-abled people,has developed new ideas for the service of disabled people.This article selects the demolition and resettlement of community disabled persons as the observation object.This article uses Maslow's hierarchy of needs theory and social support network theory as guidance,and uses interviews,observations and other methods to discuss related issues of community disabled persons in the process of community integration.The demolition and resettlement community studied in this article refers to the urban new community,namely the X community,which is demolished in rural areas and villagers are uniformly resettled.It is located in the southwest of Lanzhou New District and contains a total of 6 villagers.The original neighborhood relationship was broken.Community X covers an area of12.26 square kilometers,with a permanent resident population of 7,187.There are as many as 56 disabled persons on the register,but the residents committee is limited and not a member of the community.It lacks in-depth understanding of the community and provides limited services to the disabled.There are few;secondly,the newly established communities have inadequate infrastructure and a relatively remote geographical location.Professional social work institutions were introduced in May last year.After the introduction of the social worker organization,the social worker found that there were a lot of disabled people in the community during the visit,and because the three-society linkage project of the institution should fit the characteristics of serving the community,after the coordination of the various units,the agency's work in the X community was mainly disabled Service-oriented,through targeted visits to households,development of individual cases,groups and other forms of services,I hope to provide reference for the services of disabled people inthis type of community,to "build a well-off society in an all-round way,there are many people with disabilities" Provide professional social work services for people with disabilities in the resettlement community,improve the living conditions of people with disabilities in the community,promote the overall development of people with disabilities,reduce the burden on children and families of people with disabilities,and improve the social security system.This not only provides support to people with disabilities,but also enables them to integrate into community life and play a role in community work.The main conclusion of this study is that the group work method is feasible for the community integration of the disabled in the demoliti on community.
