A Study On The Family Intimacy Of Vulnerable Children With Parent-child Parallel Group Intervention

As the pace of social transformation has accelerated,the family as the basic unit of society has been greatly affected.The radical change of family structure has promoted the generation of difficult families and the generation of vulnerable children.With the occurrence of left-behind,single parents,orphans,and relatives in prison,family functions have been destroyed,resulting in a surge in the life and psychological pressure of existing family members.The absence of family members can also lead to tensions in the family atmosphere,which can lead to various family conflicts and problems and affect family intimacy.For children whose mental development is not mature enough,changes in family structure are very likely to produce negative effects such as inferiority complex and autism.It is difficult for children to tap their own advantages and cultivate their own abilities,which is not conducive to their own growth.In addition,parents themselves also lack support and acceptance,and often treat their children in the form of criticism,scolding,and ignorance,resulting in the destruction of family intimacy.This study is based on the government purchase project undertaken by Shanghai Sunshine Community Youth Affairs Center,and provides professional services to 40 families of children aged 6-14 in Shanghai.Through the form of a parent-child parallel group,assist children in difficult families to understand themselves correctly,promote positive parent-child communication between parents and children,promote benign interactions among family members,and increase family intimacy.In this study,through the form of pre-experimental design,questionnaire surveys and interviews were used to explore whether the parent-child parallel group can play a positive role in enhancing the family intimacy of vulnerable children.It is found that parent-child parallel group plays an active role in improving family intimacy of vulnerable children.At the same time,the research results also prove that the parent-child parallel group has a good theoretical value and practical significance in improving the family intimacy of vulnerable children: on the one hand,the parent-child parallel group provides different intervention methods for social work to intervene in the family intimacy of vulnerable children,enriching the forms of social work to intervene in the family intimacy of vulnerable children;On the other hand,the content and form of parent-child parallel group activities play a positive role in enhancing parent-child interaction,strengthening parent-child communication skills and improving family intimacy of vulnerable children.
