Research On The Improvement Of Parent-Child Relationship Of Left-Behind Children By Structual Family Therapy

Left-behind children come into being with the rapid development of China's economy.The acceleration of urbanization makes many young adults in towns and countries leave their homes and work in cities.Owing to economic considerations and policy constraints,they tend to leave their children in the hometowns,and this has resulted in a special group of left-behind children.Because parents go out to work all the year round,many left-behind children are eager for family affection.Because of the lack of education and guidance from parents,these children are prone to problems in mentality,character,behavior and other aspects,which have a negative effects on their growth and development.This paper studies the parent-child relationship of left-behind children,and explores the role of structured family therapy in improving the parent-child relationship of left-behind children on the basis of relevant researches at home and abroad.This research takes left-behind children's families with parent-child relationship as the research object to carry out practical exploration.Guided by the professional values of social work,the theory of structured family therapy is applied to individual cases to intervene in the parent-child relationship of left-behind children's families.The author uses professional methods and techniques to carry out family therapy,to improve the parent-child relationship within the family,to help left-behind children establish correct values,to promote the improvement of family relations,and to strengthen the flexibility and stability of the whole family.In addition,through the evaluation and reflection of the intervention effects,the author summarizes the experience and shortcomings of this study and puts forward several countermeasures and suggestions,in order to provide reference for the follow-up related researches and practical works.
