A Case Study Of Structured Family Therapy Involving Parent-child Conflict In The Main Family

Stem family refers to a family composed of three generations of family members and living together.Family members in this family type have their own lifestyles,behaviors and values,which are more likely to produce conflicts and disputes than other families.The complicated family composition leads to frequent family problems,among which parent-child conflict is obvious.In the stem family,the parent-child conflict mainly occurs because the two sides of the conflict have different personalities and concepts,the family members have different sub-systems,the family rearing style is different,and the children's behavior is improper.Parent-child conflict can lead to poor school performance,behavioral deviation,and autism,seriously affecting the healthy development of children.Therefore,this study takes the stem family in a community as the research object,focusing on the parent-child conflict in the stem family,aiming to use structural family therapy to intervene this family,and explore how to effectively solve the parent-child conflict in the stem family.This study is mainly divided into three parts: in the early stage,through the structural family therapy,stem family,parent-child conflict and other related literature review,to understand the current research status and confirm whether the study is feasible.At the same time,the author studies the structural family therapy and analyzes its basic theoretical views,application skills and intervention steps so as to flexibly apply the method in practice.In the middle stage,through the specific practice of intervening the parent-child conflict of the stem family,the research was divided into six steps :Join the family and establish professional relationship;Assess family structure and diagnose parent-child conflict;To explore family boundaries and formulate intervention goals and plans;Intervene in the family to solve the parent-child conflict;Exit the family and end the intervention.First of all,Learning the basic situation of the family and the relevant information of family members to understand and evaluate the family situation.Secondly,we should make specific intervention plans to achieve the overall goal of solving the parent-child conflict in the main family by making clear the role division among family members,making clear the system boundaries;promoting communication between family members,enhancing understanding,improving communication methods;promoting the behavior change of the case owner and solving academic problems;and strengthening the learning of children's education methods.Finally,the service was evaluated byprocess evaluation,service goal achievement,case owner self-evaluation,family members mutual evaluation and social workers self-evaluation to understand the intervention effect.In the later period,it is mainly to review the practice,reflect on the intervention process and results,and draw the conclusion of this study.Conclusion specific as follows:(1)the structural family therapy can effectively solve the problem of the trunk family parent-child conflict(2)the family is the social work intervention of school-age children's parent-child conflicts effectively using factor(3)the use of structural family therapy should be combined with the concrete methods of social work(4)social workers in solving the problem of the trunk family parent-child conflict faces many obstacles.Looking back on this study,we find that researchers' own experiences,abilities and the use of methods will have an impact on the research.Therefore,we put forward suggestions for social workers to intervene in the parent-child conflict of the stem family,such as paying attention to self-improvement,reasonably playing the role of grandparents in the stem family,comprehensively using multiple methods,and attaching importance to the link of external resources,hoping that the society Workers can comprehensively consider the individual,family,community and other effective factors,give full play to their own,case owners,families and communities,and more reasonably and effectively solve the problem of parent-child conflict in the stem family.
