A Study On The Construction Of Grass Roots Party Organizations In Cities And Towns In The New Era

Since the 18 th People's Congress of the Communist Party of China,the construction of socialism with Chinese characteristics has entered a new era.The main contradiction between people and current society is that people's demand for a better life is increasing,but social development is not sufficient.The change of the main social contradictions also means that the grass-roots party organizations in cities and towns must also renew and adjust themselves in order to adapt the new era.Therefore,it is particularly important to strengthen the construction of urban grass-roots party organizations.Strengthening party building at the grass-roots level is conducive to solidifying the party's ruling position,alleviating social contradictions,and promoting common prosperity.At the same time,it is conducive to better promote new urbanization.This dissertation takes Huji Town,Zhongxiang City,Hubei Province as an example.Field investigation,literature reading,and interviews are the main methods for the current research on the status of the grass-roots party organization.It is found that although the town's grass-roots party organization has achieved certain results,it also exists some problems.1.The number of Communist Party members is increasing,but the phenomenon of aging is more serious.2.Party members have different educational levels,so the party building learning effect is not obvious enough.Formalism remains a problem that cannot be ignored.3.The leadership and organization of grass-roots leaders have improved significantly,but their management capabilities cannot meet the requirements of the new era and new situation.4.The construction of the organizational system is gradually improved,but there is still a clear gap between system construction and system implementation.5.The grass-roots party organizations need to solve the prominent problems that affect the strict administration of the party in the light of the actual conditions in the region.In view of the above problems,this study attempts to propose solutions from the following aspects: 1.Strengthen the quality building of party members and increase the number of young people in urban grass-roots party organizations.2.Diversification of education forms that enhances the effectiveness of party members' educational activities.3.The improvement of the cadre team building speed that comprehensively improves the management ability of urban grass-roots party organizations.4.The improvement of the system and mechanism of party building work that establishes a comprehensive party building evaluation system for urban grass-roots party organizations.5.Political work is the top priority,and grass-roots party organizations need to improve the organization and leadership of urban grass-roots party organizations according to local characteristics.
