In 1992,China and Korea officially established Chinese-South Korean tourism ties.The most significant change occurred in 2016,when a political incident caused disruption to the tourism industry.This change is considered a consequence of a shift in ‘political mutual trust',which have defined in this paper.A comprehensive analysis was conducted on the correlation research literature studied in China and Korea.The influence of this incident on the tourism industries of both countries and Tourism Market Growth Trends are compared by utilizing the Tourism Background Curve Method(TBCM).Furthermore,investigated economic changes,which were the secondary impact of the incident on Korea and conducted a survey of Koreans and conducted an in-depth analysis.Results: First,Found that the international tourism markets of Korea and China have grown under different backgrounds and that each country has different perspectives in the study of existing Korea-China tourism exchanges.Second,when the decline in political mutual trust caused by the same incident was applied to the tourism market,it was found that the tourism market in each country had differences in timing,size,and impact.Third,through a survey of Koreans,political mutual trust plays a greater role in those who have an emotional tendency than those who have an objective inclination to the relationship between political events and tourism.travel partner,when political mutual trust has been reduced commitment to certain countries also have been found to be lower.This study is expecting to present the prospects for tourism exchange between South Korea and China,discuss measures for minimizing the negative impacts that exogenous events such as political incidences may have on the tourism industry,and offer suggestions for future research and attention.
