Self-isolation is a reduction in social desire, actively reducing social interaction, avoiding social connections with the outside world, and tends to close itself in a small and fixed social network of mental state and behavior. It belongs to active reverse social isolation.Affected by the death of the only child, this problem generally exists in the group of elderly people who have lost their independence. It not only restricts social interaction to a certain extent, blocks access to social support, and affects their normal life, which leads to depression, autism and other mentalities. The problem has multiple negative effects such as threatening mental health, destroying social support systems, and hindering social integration. However, the current focus on elders who have lost their independence mainly focuses on aspects such as pension models and psychological counseling. The concern of the elders who have lost their independence has been low.The issue of self-separation is still in the blind zone of social policies and social services. In order to explore the problem of self-isolation of the old man who lost his independence and the role of social support in "de-isolation",he hoped to put forward effective social support strategies, which would weaken the self-isolation of the old man who lost his independence. In this paper,a semi-structured interview research method was used to conduct an in-depth survey of 15 elderly people who lost their independence and 3 social workers engaged in the work of losing independence through simple random sampling in Shanghai 's Songjiang District.According to the field research, first transcribe the interview recordings, then summarize and integratethe interview data, and combine the author's observation records of the daily activities of the elderly who have lost their loneliness to form a phenomenon description of universal significance. The specific research results show that the self-isolation of the old man who lost his independence belongs to the post-traumatic stress disorder in the early stage of loss of independence, and has the characteristics of universality and absoluteness. In the late period of self-independence,self-isolation is a manifestation of the self-defense mechanism of the old man who has lost his independence. After self-isolation,the social support network of the elderly who have lost their independence appears to have low psychological needs, difficult to meet personalized needs, lack of specialization in management, insufficient professional service, and unstable support network, which is not conducive to the improvement of self-isolation.In addition, only timely and effective social support in the support network can play the role of "de-isolation" through the three influence paths of the elderly, social environment, and social interaction, the expressive support has a significant role, and the non-lost group is weakened. The key to isolation. The dynamic interaction between self-isolation and social support has also formed a two-way cycle of benign and malignant.Social support is a relatively controllable part in the cycle, and it is the key to breaking the vicious circle of strong self-isolation and ineffective social support. Therefore, this article starts from the social support side in the role cycle, and proposes to promote the improvement of social support from the four levels of individual, family, community and society according to the gap between existing support and effective support,so that it can better weaken isolation.Based on the existing research, this article further enriches the connotation of self-isolation and clarifies the staged characteristics of self-isolation;it deepens the role of social support "de-isolation" and specifically differentiates the role of support within and outside the group;at the same time,it innovates social support A two-way cycle of isolation from self.Practicable social support promotion strategies are also conducive to improving the quality of social services, promoting social integration, improving the living conditions of elderly people who have lost their independence, and improving the quality of life.
