With the development of Internet technology, especially mobile Internet technology,We Media emerge at a historic moment. The emergence of We Media is equivalent to building a platform for people to express their views and opinions, which is conducive to the exercise of the right of freedom of speech granted by the Constitution. But unrestricted freedom of speech will promote the growth of false information. At present,China lacks systematic legal regulations on false information of We Media, which contributes to the growing of false information. In this case,we must strengthen the legal regulation of the false information of the We Media. On the contrary,it is because the law is not perfect, and the legal definition of false information in the We Media is not clear, and it is easy to cause some information that do not need to be regulated by law to be included in the scope of legal regulation.Excessive involvement of public power in the control of We Media information will destroy citizens’ right to freedom of speech, and affect the fairnessand justice of the law. Therefore, while strengthening the legal regulation,it is also necessary to define the concept of false information in We Media clearly and clarify the boundary of the regulation of public power. This paper is divided into four parts. The first part combines the view of the academic community and author to define the false information of We Media. The second part mainly explains the legal basis on which the thesis is based. The third part mainly analyzes the status of legal regulation of false information in We Media, including legislative provisions and real cases. The fourth part is the core part of this paper, which is based on the first three parts, the comprehensive analysis of recommendations for legal regulation of We Media false information.
