Study On The Morphological And Functional Characteristics Of Elite Rowing Athletes In Hubei Province

Rowing have high requirements on the body configuration and quality of the physical class racing events.Investigating points are four levels of men's heavyweight,lightweight,women' s heavyweight and lightweight.The distance of the race are 2000 meters,which is divided into three stages:set sail or start stage,the stage on the way,and the end of the period or the sprint phase.To obtain excellent results in the competition,not only relying on good training conditions and scientific training methods.The athlete's congenital condition is also an important factor cannot be ignored,thus rowing athlete's selection also becomes the key to be success.Research purposes:preliminary established outstanding rowing athletes selecting index system and selection methods and scientific evaluation criteria in Hubei province.Providing a reference for rowing team selection work in Hubei province,and on the choice of selecting indicators,with more optimization,convenient to the rowing athlete's selection in the future.To provide certain reference value for the science of material selection.Methods:There are 74 excellent rowers as sample as the research object in Hubei province,measured the rowers' height,weight,finger length,shoulder width,vital capacity,barbell prone to pull his arms,squatting with weight,squat arm distance,the 3000-meter run,blood lactic acid,hemoglobin,serum testosterone of testing.By using a variety of statistical methods,the outstanding rowing athlete's selection standard in Hubei province have been summarized and quantitative.Primary index system and selection method of the test and evaluation standard are established.In the test system,constructing the scientific selection model,choosing the optimization index as the test index and analysing the characteristics of the existing outstanding athletes,all to provide the basis for our athletic reserve talents.Discussing the--indicators of rowing the influence and the role of select material,for each index factor analysis,find out the most representative selection index.Conclusion:the morphological characteristics of rowing athletes in Hubei province reflect the physical characteristics in a certain extent,which is directly related with the game process and the result of the match.The body shape of the rowing athletes in Hubei province is:public class athletes is tall,strong,long,wide shoulders and upper limb.Lightweight athletes is physical slim,upper limbs are longer,wider shoulders.The vital capacity is high,the characteristics of heart and lung function is well in physical fitness,And having good strength and flexibility.In order to provide guidance for the scientific selection of rowing,the study established the selection model of rowing athletes and laid the foundation of the shape and function of elite rowers.In the primary index system on the basis of this study,using step wise regression analysis to the primary screening index system,which has carried on the classification.The results show that:the height,weight,shoulder width is typical morphological index of rowing athletes;vital capacity,vital capacity/weight,is the indicator function rowers typical;barbell prone pull is quality indexes were rowing athletes typically.These indicators reflect the special characteristics of rowing.In the form of indicators,we should pay attention to lean weight measurement to measure athletes' body composition.Secondly,study on rowing athletes anaerobic ability is necessary.Finally,the strength of the rowing athletes is very important in the selection.
