Develop The E-Learning Self-Efficacy Scale For Senior High School Students,and Research The Relationship Between Time Management,Network Motivation And E-Learning Self-Efficacy

This paper use senior high school students for subjects through open-ended interviews,project analysis and factor analysis to develop the E-Learning Self-Efficacy Scale(ELSE-S).Then this study explored the level of senior high school students'E-Learning Self-Efficacy,and research the relationship between Time Management,Network Motivation and ELSE based on the ELSE-S.The results indicate:1.The E-Leaming Self-Efficacy Scale for senior high school students was composed of 20 items which divided into 3 factors:"Perceived capability of E-Learning","Perceived control of E-Learning Environment" and "Perceived control of E-Learning behavior".(1)The reliability analysis results indicate internal consistency coefficient was between 0.769 and 0.916,internal consistency coefficient of total scale was 0.923,which were reached the acceptable significant level.(2)The exploratory factor analysis showed that three factors could explain 60.187 percent of the whole variability;and the results of confirmatory factor analysis(?2=359.06,df=167,?2/df=2.15,RMSEA=0.079,CFI=0.893)also support the theoretical structure of this scale.The criterion validity which was the correlation coefficients between Learning Self-Efficacy Scale for senior high school students and the ELSE-S were between 0.277 and 0.389,which were over 0.01 significant levels.2.The total score of E-Learning Self-Efficacy Scale was 51.3,S.D.was 10.361,which was little better than the middle level,and it showed observed individual differences.(1)The significant difference exists in different gender(p<0.001)and origin(p<0.001)in senior high school students.There were no significant difference in grade and subject on E-Learning Self-Efficacy.(2)There were significant difference in "whether there is a computer at home"(p<0.001)," whether is convenient to the internet"(p<0.001)and "network experience"(p<0.001)on E-Learning Self-Efficacy.(3)It exists the closely correlation between Time Management and E-Learning Self-Efficacy.And there is a certain degree correlation between Network Motivation and ELSE.Conclusions:1.The situation of senior high school students' E-Learning Self-Efficacy is better than the middle level,but it still exists obvious individual differences.2.Males have higher ELSE than females'.The ELSE of the students who comes from city is better than the students who come from villages and towns.3.The factors include "there is a computer at home","it is convenient to the internet" and "rich network experience",which are helpful to improve ELSE.4.The students who could manage time better have higher ELSE.Stimulating E-learners' network motivation about self-improvement will be helpful to improve ELSE.Also,rich resources online and beautiful E-Learning platform will be helpful to improve ELSE.
