Learning to learn is one of the six key competencies that students must have in the overall framework of the development of key competencies of Chinese students.High level of learning to learn competency means that students master good learning methods and effective learning strategies, willing to pay time and energy for learning activities, and have a high sense of learning engagement. One of the key factors to improve the quality of students' learning to learn competency and education is to improve students' learning engagement. This study is based on the theory of learning engagement self-system process model and triadic reciprocal determinism. To explore the influence of academic self-efficacy on learning engagement of senior high school students. To investigate the mediating role of learning burnout and the moderating role of parents' autonomous support.483 senior high school students were investigated with academic self-efficacy scale, adolescent learning burnout scale, parents' autonomous support scale and learning engagement scale. The results are as follows:(1)There is significant differences in learning engagement in grade,There is no significant difference in learning engagement in gender.(2)Learning burnout plays a part of mediating role between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement, and the mediation effect value is 0.17,accounting for 40.48% of the total effect.(3)Parents' autonomous support can moderate the mediate effect of learning burnout, the indirect effect of learning burnout was 0.12,accounting for 51.17% of the total effect in the high level of parents' autonomous support. The indirect effect of learning burnout was 0.21,accounting for 65.63% of the total effect in the low level of parents' autonomous support.(4)Parents' autonomous support plays a moderate role between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement. When the parents' autonomous support is high, academic self-efficacy has a strong positive predictive effect on learning engagement. When the parents' autonomous support is low, academic self-efficacy has a weak positive predictive effect on learning engagement.(5)Parents' autonomous support moderated the second half path between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement in boys.Parents' autonomous support moderated the direct path of academic self-efficacy to learning engagement in girls.(6)Parents' autonomous support not only moderated the direct effect between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement, but also moderated the second half path between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement in rural senior high school students.Parents' autonomous support moderated the direct path of academic self-efficacy to learning engagement in urban senior high school students. Conclusion are as follows:(1)There is a significant difference between senior high school students in learning engagement grades, and there is no significant difference in gender.(2)Academic self-efficacy can not only directly predict learning engagement, but also indirectly predict learning engagement through the intermediary role of learning burnout in senior high school student.(3)Parents' autonomous support play a moderate role between learning burnout and learning engagement. With the increase of parents' autonomous support, the predictive effect of learning burnout on learning engagement is decreasing.(4)Parents' autonomous support play a moderate role between academic self-efficacy and learning engagement. With the increase of parents' autonomous support, the predictive effect of learning burnout on learning engagement is increasing.(5)With the increase of parents' autonomous support, the predictive effect of learning burnout on learning engagement is decreasing in boys. The direct effect of academic self-efficacyon learning engagement plays a role when the level of parents' autonomous support is high, and the higher academic self-efficacy the more learning engagement in girls.(6)With the increase of parents' autonomous support, the predictive effect of learning burnout on learning engagement is decreasing in senior high school students. The direct effect of academic self-efficacy on learning engagement plays a role when the level of parents' autonomous support is high, and the higher academic self-efficacy the more learning engagement in rural and urban senior high school students.
